All work

A Shopify store that needed titles, collections, and a plan — not another theme.

Problem

A Shopify store hired for rankings and sales, sitting on templates that hadn't been told what they were for.

Work
  • Audit of what the theme was wasting
  • Growth strategy, written down, not implied
  • Keyword research for titles, descriptions, and tags
  • Product, collection, and store SEO as three separate jobs

Brightly Labs wanted the store to rank, and they wanted it to sell. December 2023 to February 2024. Remote, United States.

I treated the catalogue as three surfaces, because Shopify will punish you if you don't. The store (homepage, nav, the sentences Google reads first). The products (titles, descriptions, tags). The collections (the pages that should be hubs and often aren't). Then an audit of what the theme was wasting, and a growth strategy so the next month had a sequence instead of a panic.

Keyword research went into titles, descriptions, and tags — the fields owners leave on autopilot. That is most of Shopify SEO, and it is most of why stores stall.

I am not attaching a fake revenue lift. The deliverables were the audit, the strategy, and the on-page. If you run a Shopify store and you have been sold a new theme as an SEO strategy, this is the other version of that meeting.

A growth memo is not a revenue screenshot. Three months on Shopify SEO is template work and language work. Sales follow if the offer and the stock are real.
