One plane. One keyword. Five years of making it findable.
SuperSeawind · SEO → Social → Digital Marketing Manager · Aug 2021 – Jul 2026
The catalogue was one experimental amphibian. Searchers didn't know the airframe, and a brochure site isn't a sales team.
- Technical SEO, on-page, keywords, content, links, WordPress, tracking
- Social and video that showed the machine in water and in air
- Newsletter funnel (Seabreeze) instead of a fake checkout
- Wrote, published, and marketed the legacy book for N71RJ
The Super Seawind N71RJ is not a product line. It is one experimental amphibian — still described as the world's fastest single-engine of its kind — looking for a buyer who already understands what they are looking at, or who can be taught.
Google does not care about that romance. People type the plane's name, or "seawind for sale", and they expect a brochure that loads, a story that holds, and a way to talk to the owner. When I joined in August 2021 the site had to do two jobs at once: rank for the people already hunting this airframe, and introduce everyone else to a machine they had never heard of.
I started as SEO manager. Technical and on-page, keyword research, content, links, WordPress, performance tracking. Then social media manager. Then digital marketing manager through July 2026. Five years on the same asset. You do not "campaign" a one-of-one plane. You keep it findable while the owner sells it the way you sell a house: slowly, with proof, to a very small room of qualified people.
The main keyword went to #1. Steven Wightman has said that in public, more than once — front page, then the top slot — and he has said what the funnel actually was: weekly Seabreeze on Mailchimp, a path toward a purchase offer, YouTube, Wikipedia and Quora as supporting surfaces, social that showed N71RJ in water and in air. None of that is ecommerce. It is a long conversation with a very expensive object at the end of it.
There is a book now, The Legacy of N71RJ. Written, published, marketed. That is not a blog post. That is the long version of why this airframe exists.
Selling an amphibious plane is a hell of a brief. They got the ranking, the funnel, the book. Then the company erased itself. Superseawind.com is not a brochure I can send you to. Five years of making one airframe findable, and the thing I was ranking is gone. That is why this study sits in the grid with everyone else, not on the front of the site.
They got what they hired me for. Then the company erased itself. I don't lead a portfolio with that ending.
